Quick update! We have houseguests a-comin’.
Today was crazy insane busy at work. No lunch, so I left at four.
The theme of the gym today was REST YOUR LEGS. I did the super-speedy Fitnessista Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps Workout. Minus the dips, because for some reason dips scare the bejeezus out of me.
Then I left under the guise of going to the grocery store before our friends showed up. I happened to make a quick stop at TJ Maxx, and found a pair of Cole Haan Nike Air dress shoes for $29. No idea if they’re authentic, but they’re definitely comfy! Woo.
And also my super cute (AND OMG comfortable) new Clarks came from Zappos!
I both love and hate Tim for buying six boxes of Girl Scout Cookies from someone at work.
I can avoid the Thin Mints and PB Sandwiches no problem…but PB Patties are the best.
Anyway, off to straighten up. What’s your favorite cookie?

OMG is it the Girl Scout cookie time of year again?!
I want some thin mints and samoas. Or have those been renamed to a more politically correct name?
I LOVE Teddy grahams (is that what they’re called?). Usually I’m not a huge fan of boxed cookies since i often find them a bit dry, but hook me up with those, and I’m good to go. Never actually had girl scout cookies – Are they as good as everyone says on tv?
The samoas (although I forget what they are called now?) are the one box we get no matter how strapped for cash or how strict of a diet we are on at the time! Cute work shoes!
We don’t have girl scouts around here. At one point there were girls in uniforms who’d sell boxes of cookies, but I think they stopped it? Aaaanyways, can’t say I’m jealous. My apartment is a no cookie-no cereal-no cracker zone! 😛 I won’t turn down a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie though 😉
I love the PB patties too! they are horrible…we actually have 15 boxes stashed away to be used on our dessert/candy buffet…(I assume they should still be good come wedding time)
OMG! I love the tagalongs (peanut butter patties) and there’s only like 12 in a box, so it’s SOO easy to eat the whole box!
I may or may not have ordered 3 boxes of girl scout cookies last week…..
I just started reading your blog and it could not have come at a better time!! I’m trying to lose weight and get in shape for my wedding next year because I too do not want to cringe when I look at my wedding photos. At the end of the summer I came close to weighing 200lbs. Since October, I have lost 10lbs. I am planning on running a 1/2 marathon with my sister in August!!! My favorite cookies are shortbread 🙂
