One week to go!

Oh Em Gee.

This time next week, Tim and I will be doing our first look and getting ready to walk down the aisle.  I’ll be wearing my wedding dress for reals then.  Tim joked that he would be vomiting and pooping himself.  Good times.

The forecast has improved!

Last night, I had a little too much wine and attempted to make escort cards for the tables.  My first attempt failed.  I waited awhile, sobered up a bit, and then tried again.  It was incredibly frustrating and annoying, and we had to count and re-alphabetize them a million times.  But they’re done.

I slept like a baby last night.

This morning, Tim and I went to run errands.  He got his wedding haircut, and we went to go find him a new pair of glasses.  (I’ve been shamelessly bugging him about this for about six months now.)  We picked out a most excellent pair at LensCrafters—they haven’t been ordered yet, but he’s ordering them on Monday and will have them by the wedding under penalty of death.  Doesn’t he look handsome?  This is his thinking pose.

While we were out, I peeked in Barnes & Noble.  I’m in the Knot magazine this month—twice!  Check it.

In the second one, I’m the one saying “Remember that no one cares about your wedding as much as you do.”  It’s true!

Also, I spent way too much money on nail polish.  I love nail polish.  It’s my latest obsession!

And teeny bottles of Essie Splash of Grenadine, Turquoise & Caicos, Playa Del Platinum, and Lapis of Luxury.  I love the Essie sampler packs because I get sick of full bottles of nail polish quickly, but these are empty by the time I’m bored!

Then we took my engagement ring to get rhodium dipped.  White gold finishes yellow over time, and I want my band and engagement ring to match, so now it’s all pretty and clean again!

(Also, sporting the Splash of Grenadine in this one.  It’s fun!)

I officially started packing for the trip.  Wedding room=good luck walking.

I have a very comprehensive packing list.  Hopefully it won’t fail me.

The butterflies have landed.  I’m pretty sure I’m going to be super anxious about packing and forgetting stuff all week!

And yes, we are still waiting on one person’s RSVP.  We’ve facebooked and emailed and the phone number we have doesn’t work.

Today we also finalized the timeline of things and notified the wedding party of that, which is kinda nice.

I kind of feel like I’m going to spontaneously break out in hives at any moment.  Good times, friends.  Good times indeed.
